The name Margherita might seem foreign to western culture, but Italians used it to describe a rare and precious person. Margherita was one of the most famous Italian scientists in the world; a brilliant woman who studied many forms of science and art and directed the astronomical observatory in Trieste for more than twenty-three years.

Our leather is the best quality full grain cow hide and is sourced from Australia and Europe. It is is custom tanned to our specifications using Italian techniques and products.

Our leather is tanned and our bags manufactured in a family run factory in Pakistan. They are very proud of their skill with leather which has been passed down through generations!

Notes on colour variants. Our Azzurra full grain leather is a multi-dimensional blue/green colour. The depths and hues of the blue/green colour on your bag will depend on which parts of the hide are used to create the panels that will be used to craft your bag - meaning every bag is unique. Our Azzurra Colour represents the multi-dimensional blue and green shades of the sea, particularly in the Amalfi Coast areas of Capri and Ischia in Italy...forever our muse.
