The name Margherita might seem foreign to western culture, but Italians used it to describe a rare and precious person. A name that suited Margherita Hack (also known as 'the lady of the stars') to a tee. Margherita was one of the most famous Italian scientists in the world; a brilliant woman who studied many forms of science and art and directed the astronomical observatory in Trieste for more than twenty-three years.
